Pets!

I was at home sick today, so I decided to take on a mini photoshoot, becuase I was very bored of staring at my kleenex box!
Meet the animals of our home!

First, meet Molly - Molly is a dog that sean's sister got from Pet Cetra for her 16th birthday. Molly is deffinantly the black sheep in the family. She morphed from the cutest puppy in the whole world to a very wierd / mostly crazzy mutt! We still love her, but if anyone is looking for a dog, I'm sure  Natalie would be willing to share Molly! hahah JUST KIDDING

Now we have Sylvester. He is a 15 year old one eyed pirate cat! This one has some determination and life, and I don't see him leaving us any time soon! He did not like me taking his photos at all!

Next is the first animal to join Sean and my family! Baghira! We went to the SPCA one day just to look, and wound up sneaking this massive panthercat into our home (our land lords didn't allow us to have pets! woops!)
Baghira (a.k.a. Bags) is just about 4 years old
Baghira wouldn't stop yawning every time I took his picture! These made me laugh!

Next we have Jessie! Jessie is another animal that morphed!! When she came into the home she was a tiny little kitten who was grey (and i swear had blue eyes) then SHE BLEW UP and is now the puffiest cat I have ever seen in my life! Seriously. Shes tiny, but has about a foot of fur growing out of her! Its crazy

Luke!! Luke is so fun! Sean and I like to go for walks with him as much as possible! Hes a yellow lab and is almost 10 years old

Last but deffinantly not least - our baby, Mogalie! Mogalie was the first kitten Sean and I got. Sean got him for a birthday a few years ago! He's so tiny even though hes a few years old, and we love him so much!

Well that entertained me for a little while! Back to staring at my Kleenex boxs! :)

{LAUREN & IAN} - Lonsdale Quay rainy engagement session

Meet Lauren & Ian! This lovley couple contacted me a few months ago to book their wedding for August 2011. We got together this past weekend (just before Valentines Day) to do their Engagement session!! Rain was in the forcast, and Vancouver's sky's didn't disapoint! It was by FAR the rainest shoot I have EVER done!! And living in Vancouver means you can expect some rainy shoots! Thank goodness for my handy, trusted umbrella holder/assistant/husband to save the day! (thanks babe!)

First and foremost, THE RING! This ring is extra super special because Ian proposed to Lauren with his Grandmothers engagement ring! How BEAUTIFUL! It also came in the box that his Grandmother got it in too! We thought that was rediculously special, so I took a **few** photos of the stunning ring. (this also meant I got to play around with my new lens! woohoo!)

Enjoy the engagement session, and look foreward to their wedding in August!

Check out the rain drops in this one! POURING I TELL YOU!

We were VERY excited to come across this over pass that protected us from the rain! We camped out here for a while!! And what kind of engagement session is it without the DIP KISS?! Good practice for the one I am going to make them do on their wedding day ;)

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!! I love Valentines Day!! lovelovelovelovelove!!! I am a huge sucker for all the teddy bears, and hearts, and chocolate, and smooches.. aww.. love it!!
This is Captured Heart Photography's salute to the day of love. These may not be the BEST photos I have taken, but these are photos of people in love - wether it is because they have just welcomed their new baby into the world, or it's their wedding day, or just another day, you can see that those two people are head over heals in love with eachother, and it warms my heart! I love love :) Enjoy the love!

p.s. to anyone who get's engaged over Valentines day, CONGRATS

{LAUREN & IAN} - Sneak Peak

I met up with Lauren & Ian at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver - we were expecting a little bit of rain but OH BOY did it pour! Here is a sneak peak from their ENGAGEMENT session!
